Equations Review

The Equations Viewer allows for a more direct way to examine equations in your model without going through each individual diagram to locate them. Here, you'll be able to pull up and edit any variable in your model.

There are two options for the Equations Viewer, Hierarchical and Flat, and both can be accessed through the View menu.

The Hierarchical view will break down the variables in your model by the entities that they belong to. In other words, it will preserve much of the logic that is represented on your diagrams.

The Flat view will have no such restrictions, and will merely display all of elements of your model in one view.

Both are fully modular and can be adjusted to taste including which information is displayed.

Through either of these screens, you'll be able to edit any element of your model. Simply double-click on the variable you'd like to edit on any of its relevant boxes and you will automatically be navigated to it on the diagram, and the variable will pop-up in the equation editor.

The equation listing control is accessible from the Find tool on the toolbar.   Multiple views can be opened at the same time.  Any text entered in the top row area is used to restrict which lines are displayed.  Selections can be further refined by clicking the upper right corner of each column header.  Desired types can be selected.   You can also enter text to apply to just that column.  You can also decide to Hide one or more of the columns.

The buttons can be used to export the grid contents to spreadsheet, CSV, or TSV format.
