This video takes a look at opportunities for team model building in Ventity. Ventity has a modular structure, with each entity and dataset in a separate XML file. That makes it practical to use source control systems (like subversion or git) or sync software (like Dropbox or OneDrive) to manage file sharing and versioning. Once users agree on entity boundaries, working on components of a model separately while maintaining integration of the whole is straightforward.
We’re really just getting started with this functionality, and many things are possible, including source control integrated with the development environment. As always, we’re eager to hear your feedback!
